Obituary for Thelma "Terry" Dodge (Niedermann)

CUSHING – Thelma ‘Terry’ Niedermann Dodge, 92, died Thursday, November 17, 2016 at the Sussman House in Rockport.

Born in Cushing, November, 11, 1924, she was the first daughter of Clarence H. and Rose L. (Schmid) Wales. She attended local school and was a 1942 graduate of Thomaston High School.

Her life was a series of adventures. In her retirement she enjoyed the quiet of her home and all its aspects of nature: the wind, the fog, and the sun in all the seasons and her trees.

She was predeceased by her two husbands, Oscar F. Niedermann and George I. Dodge, Jr.; her son David Kim Niedermann and his wife Ann Marie. Terry is survived by her daughter Kristi Niedermann; her sister Jeannette W. Chapman; her sister-in-law Hilda Dodge; numerous nieces and nephews; her stepsons, Edward Dodge and his wife Charlene, Richard Dodge and his wife Sandra, and Philip Dodge; several grandchildren great-grandchildren; Terry Donaher and his family, and numerous other dear friends.

Family and friends are invited to visit from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday, November 28, 2016 at Burpee, Carpenter & Hutchins Funeral Home, 110 Limerock Street, Rockland. Private Interment will be in Norton Cemetery, Cushing.
