Obituary for Pat Fowlie

SPRUCE HEAD – Patricia C. ‘Pat’ Fowlie, 72, died unexpectedly due to complications of surgery, Friday, July 6, 2018 at Pen Bay Medical Center in Rockport. Her loving family was at her side.
Born April 25, 1946 in Damariscotta, she was the daughter of Vernon and Mildred Fairbrother Feltis.
On November 23, 1963, Pat married her best friend and the love of her life, Paul R. Fowlie. Together they have lived in Spruce Head their entire married life.
For many years Pat was employed at the local fish processing plants in Rockland and later at Tibbett’s Industries.
Pats number one priority in life was her family. She loved nothing more than spending time with her children and grandchildren. Her daughter remembers the beautiful crocheted baby blankets she made for each new baby in the family. She also loved watching the Boston Red Sox and was an avid fan.
Pat will be sadly missed by all who loved her.
Pat is survived by her beloved husband Paul of Spruce Head; her children, Glen Fowlie and his wife Brenda of Appleton, Tina Leighton of Warren; six grandchildren, Teisha Hatch, Makayla Harriman, Alysha Leighton, Casey Dixon, Kara Smith, Nicki Fowlie; and six great-grandchildren, Noah, Silas, Riley, Piper, Owen, and Alva.
Pat’s family has chosen to remember her life privately.
Arrangements are in the care of Burpee, Carpenter & Hutchins Funeral Home, 110 Limerock Street, Rockland.
